Classic and easy cross country route with start and finish at the parking lot adjacent to the Church of S.Pietro al Natisone. The first section is on asphalt road in the direction of Vernasso and then Ponte San Quirino. From here you cross the bridge over the Natisone, and the village of Azzida, continuing in the direction of Savogna. After leaving Clenia behind, in the hamlet of Cocevaro take the ascent to the left, following the sign for Vernassino. Arriving near the church, on the hairpin bend take the forest road on the left and after a few ups and downs begin the descent in the direction of Makota. Following the signs for Sorzento, you will reach the valley and return to the starting point by comfortable bike path.
The route does not present particular difficulties even in case of rain.
