This XC trail, suitable for e-bikes too, starts from San Leonardo and follows, for the first section, the provincial road towards Udine: after less than a kilometer you start the climb by taking the road to the right towards Clastra. Near the Agriturismo “Il Melo innamorato” turn right and climb further, continuing on natural terrain and following the mountain ridge. Near the Church of Santa Lucia, descend to the left toward Brizza Superiore and, after the village, take a forest road to the right that, after a few kilometers of ups and downs, will take us to the junction with the asphalt Canalaz-Cepletischis road. Traveling a short distance in the direction of Canalaz (to the right), we reach a small parking lot near the CAI hut, near which runs the path that we will take to get to the highest and most scenic point of the route: the Church of San Martino, located at the top of the mountain of the same name (987 mlsm). We descend again to the asphalt road, which we will follow for a short distance toward Canalaz: before reaching the village, it is possible to visit the monumental chestnut tree of the same name. Passing Canalaz and Plataz, you go up toward Grimacco Superiore, where you take a new forest road that will take you to the communal road near the village of Cernizza. From here we descend toward the valley, then crossing the road that, passing by the Cosizza Stream, will take us back to Scrutto and the starting point.
