Sorzy is a trail located on the hill overlooking the town of Sorzento, which features three variants:

• Old Line
• New Line
• Pig Line

The starting point of the Old line and the New line are located near the crossroads called Makota.

To take the Pig line instead, from the crossroads itself, you have to continue uphill for a few hundred meters along the offroad.

The three variants then come together and the final part is in common.

Sorzy is an artificial trail with the presence of some drops, jumps and parabolic curves.

Sorzy trail is famous because it has been crossed by several editions of the well-known mass-start downhill marathon 749 Avalanche (formerly Matadown).

The Old line is the original trail which goes down pretty straight so it is also the fastest track.

The access to the New line can be found by keeping the left handside immediately after the departure. This is the most “guided” track with numerous sides, small jumps and some compression.

The Pig line is a mix of the other two with a more curvy initial stretch followed by a faster one that also has a few jumps.

In case of wet ground the trail becomes quite slippery so please be careful.
